Tapathon 2017!

We are so excited to be involved in this years Tapathon, raising money for Children In Need! This event aims to set a new Guinness World Record for the greatest number of people performing the same tap routine at multiple venues, simultaneously across the UK on Sunday 19th November 2017.

The routine has already been choreographed and we have already begun teaching it in our classes - from our 5 year olds right up to our adults!

This is a family event where young and old can perform alongside each other by putting on their dancing shoes for Pudsey and breaking the world record which currently stands at over seven and a half thousand participants, while raising funds for some of the UK's most disadvantaged children.

Please remember that even though the title is 'Tapathon', this doesn't mean we are performing for hours!! For the world record attempt the routine is completed two times in total.

The funds are raised by ordering a t-shirt, which will cost just £10 - there are no sponsor forms or fees for you to collect and each participant will receive a certificate.

We would like to make this a family event and if parents or family members want to take part or help on the day, they don't even need to dance, they could still buy a t-shirt to contribute to charity and wear it on the day.

The Tapathon will be happening on 19th November 2017 at St Michael's Church Hall, Whitefield 12-2pm.

If you or your child want to get involved please speak to Miss Livesey ASAP - all entries need to be in by Monday 16th October!
